This two-day course is aimed at improving your skills with Nikon's amazing new digital camera. You will learn directly from Mike Hagen in an intensive hands-on environment.

Course Info
D2X/D2H Workshop Description
We start the day with an indoor tutorial and Power Point Presentation. We cover the camera's main dial operations, menu controls and custom function screens.

After the morning classroom session, we head outdoors for a field work session. Our goal is to utilize the tools we learned in the morning to create stunning images in the real world.

After the outdoor field session we download our pictures to desktop and laptop computers. We will use Nikon's software to review our photos, critique them for improvements and also learn image optimization. During this workshop we spend two entire days learning more advanced setups and menus. Our goal is to be able to customize the camera for your individual shooting style.

We’ll go through various camera setups that help optimize the settings for high-end portraits, colorful travel photography, dazzling night photography and nature photography.

We’ll spend time in the classroom as well as time in the field optimizing our methods and techniques. By the end of both days, you will feel very comfortable with this amazing digital camera system.

This course is packed with information that you can use immediately. We guarantee that you'll not only learn how to better use your Nikon D2X and D2H, but you'll also learn to be a better photographer. Mike will work closely with you in the field and help unlock the confusing digital learning curve!

Mike will email driving directions after you have signed up.

Food
Coffee will be provided in the morning. You are responsible for supplying your own lunch and dinner. We'll be eating meals together during our "working sessions". Feel free to bring sack lunch or buy food locally. Mike can suggest a number of places to grab a quick "to go" meal.

All students will receive a free copy of Mike's instructional course materials. These items will be provided to you as study notes. We'll be using these notes in the field to help learn the camera and learn photography.
