I was down in Galveston, Texas a few weeks ago, photographing the local scene. Here are a few shipyard photographs from Galveston Bay. Had a great time capturing some of the industrial areas.

I ran my first HDR image through Photoshop CS5’s new HDR pro utility. I must admit that the program did a very good job of producing a “believable” HDR image. I ran four 14-bit Nikon D700 NEF images through the utility and was impressed with how quickly CS5 rendered the preview. So far, so good.

I had a free day between workshops for the Nikonians Academy and decided to head down to Galveston, TX for some photos. The weather is awesome and the town is a great place to take photos. Here are some pics.

I’m in Dallas Texas to lead workshops with the Nikonians Academy. The 100 degree temperature here is quickly reminding me why I live in Washington State!
