This one-day course is aimed at improving your skills with the entire digital workflow. We'll cover everything you need to know from before you take the picture until you make your prints. You will learn directly from Mike Hagen in an intensive hands-on environment.

Digital Workflow Workshop Description
Our day is packed full of tips, tricks and methods that will help you master your digital images. We cover topics that every digital photographer needs to know. Our focus is on helping you create a system to manage your pictures from start to finish. We'll cover the following topics:
- Color space choices (sRGB vs. Adobe)
- Naming files
- Monitor calibration
- Archiving your data
- Automating your workflow
- Automating Photoshop
- Managing printer setups
- Printer calibration
- How to format files for lab output
- How to backup files while travelling
- Maximizing software use
- Simplifying the workflow
- Methods for Wedding and Portrait photographers
- How to set up a stock library
- Tagging images with keywords
- Search utilities and methods
- Hardware recommendations for storage, media and computers
- Much, much more

Computers
We'll be bringing Dell computers for everyone to use. Each of the PCs are loaded with all the software needed for the workshop. During the class, Mike will be giving his software recommendations for your own home system.

Location
Mike will email driving directions after you have signed up.

Food
Coffee and snacks will be provided in the morning. You are responsible for supplying your own lunch. Feel free to bring sack lunch or buy food locally. Mike can suggest a number of places to grab a quick "to go" meal.

Extra Bonus
All students will receive a free copy of Mike's instructional course materials. These items will be provided to you as study notes. We'll be using these notes in the field to help learn the camera and learn photography.
